The Buffalo Bills are a professional football team with a storied history, tracing its origins to the American Football League prior to the AFL-NFL merger. The team was founded in 1959 by Ralph Wilson, who lent his name to Ralph Wilson Stadium, now known as Highmark Stadium. With playoff appearances by the team in 2019 and 2020, it can be difficult to find a place to park for a game unless you book Highmark Stadium parking ahead of time with ParkWhiz. The team originated as one of the charter members of the American Football League (AFL) when league founder Lamar Hunt convinced Ralph Wilson to become the owner of one of the first teams, which he ultimately chose to locate in Buffalo, New York. During its AFL years, the team won the 1964 and 1965 AFL Championships. Following the merger, the Bills won the four AFC Conference championships between 1990 and 1993. The team maintains rivalries with the New England Patriots, the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. The venue was renamed New Era Field in 2016 and then Bills Stadium in 2020 before becoming Highmark Stadium in 2021. The Bills have recently made playoff appearances during the 2017, 2019 and 2020 seasons. This upward trend points toward more visitors arriving at Bills Stadium, making it crucial to book Highmark Stadium parking ahead of the game with ParkWhiz.
