If heading to downtown Toronto and you’re in need of Metro Toronto Convention Centre parking, ParkWhiz has you covered.
Located in close proximity to the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, Union Station, and Scotiabank Arena, the MTCC offers 56,000 square metres of a convention space. It’s home to the 1,330 seat John Bassett Theatre, the 586 room Intercontinental Toronto Centre Hotel and 24,000 square metres of class B office space.
The centre is connected to the Union Station railway and transit station through the SkyWalk, and is also accessible via the underground PATH system. The centre is also connected by the Skywalk system to the nearby Rogers Centre and large conventions or exhibitions will sometimes also use it as an additional venue.
Numerous large-scale events have been hosted at the MTCC over the years. Some notable events include the 2010 G-20 Summit, and the 1985 NHL Entry Draft where the hometown Maple Leafs selected Wendel Clark. Fan favourite Clark would later go on to serve as Captain, have his number 17 retired by Toronto, and be inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2011.
When planning your next trip, get your MTCC parking with ParkWhiz. It’s fast, simple, and takes the hassle out of finding parking.
