The State of Florida is a great place for sports, and the city of Orlando has capitalized on it by hosting the Orlando City SC at Exploria Stadium. The venue opened for business in 2017, though its increasing popularity has made it difficult to find Orlando City SC parking unless you book in advance with ParkWhiz. As the team was founded in 2013, prior to the completion of the stadium Orlando City SC played at Camping World Stadium. The former Orlando City Stadium was funded by private investors and designed by Populous. The first goal at the venue was completed by Cyle Larin, where Orlando won 1-0 against New York City FC. Exploria Stadium is also the new home of the Cure Bowl. This NCAA football bowl game happens each December, most often utilizing teams from the Sun Belt Conference and the American Athletic Conference. The event was previously held at Camping World Stadium. The venue has a capacity for 25,550 guests, including safe standing areas for two fan groups, the Iron Lion Firm and The Ruckus. The NWSL team known as Orlando Pride is also based at the venue. Other past events include multiple Florida Cup games, NCAA Women’s College Cup and the NWSL Championship. As the team gets more and more popular, it can be difficult to find Orlando City SC parking. Rather than circle around Orlando, it makes sense to book Exploria Stadium parking in advance with ParkWhiz.
