Additionally, there is the immense, 10,000 square foot Kessel D. Stelling Ballroom, which is available to be rented for events. Past concerts performed at the Cobb Energy Center include Melissa Etheridge, Norah Jones, ABBA, Alice Cooper, Incognito and Dave Koz. Comics Eddie Izzard and Bill Maher have also performed their craft at the Cobb Energy Center. The edifice of the Cobb Energy Center itself was used as a stand-in for the CDC towards the end of the first season of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
