Aashish Dalal co-founded the largest eparking provider in the world, which is now the market leader. He is a leading expert on eparking, speaks frequently at industry conferences, and is published regularly in industry trade journals Parking and Parking Today. His role as industry catalyst earned him a spot on Crain's Chicago Tech 25 and awards from Nokia and American Express. Before creating ParkWhiz, Aashish was with IBM Global Business Services. He earned his M.S. from DePaul University and B.A. from Northwestern University. To date, ParkWhiz has raised over $12 million in funding.
Tim Brennan has more than 16 years of operations and marketing experience, primarily at high tech startups. He has led companies from seed funding to $100M+ multi-channel operations, consistently achieving double-digit sales and market growth. At Q Interactive he headed the company's advertising and website networks. Then, he was part of the founding team at Viewpoints.com, a ratings and reviews pioneer that now owns Power Reviews. He built and sold Photo.com for parent company Calumet Photographic, and then became that company's COO, building the online channel before selling it to a large private equity firm. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Gettysburg College.
Dan Cummings has been building consumer facing products on the internet for over 18 years. He is passionate about creating unforgettable customer experiences and highly collaborative teams. Dan has shaken up the content, entertainment and financial industries working for a range of companies, from small startups to the fortune 50. He grew GuarateedRate's online mortgage origination from $0 to over $4 billion in loan volume in less than 24 months. Dan also founded the GPShopper Chicago office and innovated a 4x expansion client base which resulted in 35 additional employees building mobile applications for major retailers. Dan holds a BA from George Mason University.
Mark Stratman has been creating web and mobile systems for the past 14 years. He has built and managed the development of large-scale, high availability web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and related products. Successful projects include developing and managing a flagship education assessment and evaluation product, developing and maintaining a large futures trading system, creating a variety of backend and consumer facing web applications, and leading initiatives to digitize a multifaceted organization. He is well versed in a variety of programming languages, experienced in systems design and architecture, and continually learning new technologies. Mark received a B.S. and M.Ed. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Brandy Kemp loves to build brands and connect consumers to the products that make their lives more fun and a little easier. An insights driven marketer, she has spent the last 10 years focused in the mobile and technology sectors creating brand engagement, building loyalty and growing the customer base for companies like Groupon and Sprint. While at Groupon she launched multiple product verticals helping grow Groupon into a $6 billion dollar business while increasing the value of customers on the mobile platform. Brandy has a BS from Bradley University.
Dean brings more than 20-years of proven, practical success directing global sales, marketing and business development efforts that led to 3 successful exits and the creation of more than $4 billion in market capitalization. As part of the WatchGuard Technologies founding team, Dean drove annual revenue to more than $70 million in four years and through a multi-billion dollar IPO and secondary offering. At Sierra On-line, Dean grew revenue over 900% during a four year period to $300 million annually, leading to a $1.2 billion acquisition by Vivendi Universal. Dean serves as an advisor to several boards including Cleversafe, Inc., and he holds a BA from the University of Arizona.
Jens Weitzel has over 20 years of software and technology experience focused on strategy, global business development and corporate development. Prior to joining ParkWhiz, he was Vice President of Business Development at Swiftpage and was instrumental in selling its Saleslogix CRM business to Infor. Previously, he held various executive positions at SAP in Palo Alto including leadership roles in SAP’s partner organization and its Sustainability incubator where he focused on Connected Car initiatives. Prior to SAP, he was a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting and KPMG Peat Marwick, and managed an e-commerce start-up in Hong Kong. Jens holds a graduate business degree with distinction from Cologne University in Germany.
Rob McLennan has held several C-suite positions with fast-growth ventures. Prior to ParkWhiz he was Vice President of Finance and Operations at Red Foundry, CFO at Indie Energy, and Director of Finance and Operations at Discovery Group. As a corporate finance analyst for William Blair, Rob worked on $100 million IPOs and corporate sales and acquisitions. His own entrepreneurial ventures include a retail franchise, a live music club, and a video production company. He graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College and earned an M.B.A. with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
