ParkWhiz Expands Executive Team with Three New Strategic Hires
Seasoned Executives Join to Help Accelerate ParkWhiz’s Rapid Growth and Deepen Focus in Core Markets
CHICAGO – MARCH 25, 2015 – ParkWhiz, Inc., the leading parking platform that makes it easy to find and book parking from any device, has named Jens Weitzel as senior vice president of business development; Dan Cummings as vice president of product management; and Brandy Kemp as vice president of marketing. The three hires deepen ParkWhiz’s executive team and help accelerate the company’s rapid growth. ParkWhiz’s $10-million funding secured in July 2014 fueled these new positions.

A business development executive with more than 20 years of software and technology experience, Weitzel was previously vice president of strategy and corporate development for Infor, where he was responsible for global channel expansion and strategic partnerships. He also held various executive positions at SAP, where he focused on connected-car initiatives. He will be based in Palo Alto, California.
For more than 18 years, Cummings has been building consumer-facing products on the Internet. He was previously vice president of product development, online at Guaranteed Rate Inc., where he led the development of GuaranteedRate.com, PartnerXChange (its real estate agent site) and all external Web properties.
With more than 15 years of experience, Kemp is a results-oriented marketer. She was previously director of brand marketing for Groupon, where she defined the customer brand strategy. She also provided brand-leadership support for the Groupon Global Travel product – Groupon Getaways. Prior to Groupon, she was an account director for Havas. ParkWhiz plans to continue to add top talent in its Chicago office, looking to increase staff from 30 employees to 50 employees, while also expanding its West Coast presence.
