SDCCU Stadium
Rarely does a stadium get to host both the Super Bowl and the World Series, let alone in the same year. Yet in 1998, SDUCCU Stadium (formerly Qualcomm Stadium) in San Diego hosted both the Super Bowl and the World Series. Finding Qualcomm Stadium parking spaces would have been tough, since during this time, the arena was home to both the San Diego Chargers and the Padres. Since the Padres left in 2003 and the Chargers moved to LA in 2016, the Stadium’s focus has been on NCAA events.
Opening in 1967, the former Qualcomm Stadium was designed to be multipurpose from the start. In addition to professional sports, college bowl games and soccer games also occur occasionally at SDCCU Stadium. Not just for sports, SDCCU Stadium is a San Diego staple for concerts and other events. Every year since 2007, Big SoCal Euro hosts its annual European car show at SDCCU Stadium, bringing in upwards of three thousand car enthusiasts and the stadium has also been home to big acts like One Direction, and Beyoncé.
ParkWhiz is nice and easy: find your game or event on the ParkWhiz website, book your SDCCU Stadium parking space and print your ParkWhiz parking pass. When you bring that with you, you can focus on the game, not your car.
