It was much easier reserving a parking spot ahead of time. No waiting to get out and in a good area. Best part was the short walk to Wrigley. Hope this spot is available next time.

Parking a couple blocks from Wrigley, at a private residence, on our driveway. Parking for just 1 car. Pull in right off Newport Avenue into our driveway and park behind our home. No dealing with alleyways, no dealing with "automobile tetris" with people trying to jam multiple vehicles into a small spot. Your vehicle will be safely parked off a nice residential street where you will never have issues with getting blocked in or find people loitering.
As of 5/20/2013 ... we can no longer accept super-long double-cab extended bed pickups. Our spot can accommodate 8' wide x 16' long and 7-1/2 ft in height, but those particular trucks tend to ooze beyond on our property lines (as marked by blue tape on the ground). 99.5% of vehicles sold in the United States are fine (our big Nissan Pathfinder fits with room to spare), but those super-long pickups have issues fitting in the spot and we need to be respectful of our neighbors. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to contact me with any questions.

3424 N Seminary Ave is at the corner of Seminary Ave & Newport Ave, just blocks from Wrigley (a 4 minute walk to the park). Our home faces Seminary Ave, and our driveway is accessed from Newport Ave. If you want to use Google Maps for directions to the driveway, you can type in: 1109 W. Newport Ave, Chicago, IL 60657.
We are the 3-story home on the corner, painted white & grey with dark brown brick on the side. Our home has 2 big red cantilevered balconies off the back, under which you can safely park your car with no hassles. Park your vehicle parallel to the garage closest to the street, directly under the balcony with a flag and flowers, as shown in the pictures.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We put down blue tape to mark the outside corners of our property, so you can see the area in which your car should be parked. Park your vehicle within the boundaries of that blue tape. Parallel park close to the garage, as shown in pictures (again, the blue tape marks our property lines). As of 5/20/2013, please, no extended-bed double-cab pickups trucks. The spot is quite large, 99.5% of vehicles sold in the US fit just fine (including our large Nissan Pathfinder). However, we've tried to accommodate those super long pickups in the past, and they've oozed beyond our properties lines and we have to be respectful of our neighbors. The spot is 8 ft wide x 16 ft long and can handle up to 7-1/2 ft in height. Coming east on Addison Avenue:
* Take Racine Avenue south (right turn on Racine), drive 3 streets down
* Take Newport Avenue east (left turn on Newport), drive 1 block east to our driveway on the right side, just before the corner at Seminary
Coming east on Belmont Avenue:
* Take Racine Avenue north (left turn on Racine), drive 3 streets down
* Take Newport Avenue east (right turn on Newport), drive 1 block east to our driveway on the right side, just before the corner at Seminary
No hassles, very safe neighborhood, no alleyways, no other cars to deal with.
