Tigers are fast and efficient hunters, striking only when the moment is right. The Auburn Tigers emulate their namesake, and because of their tact, they are the 12th winningest team in the Football Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA. Fighting for the University of Auburn in Alabama, the Tigers’ lair is Jordan-Hare Stadium, a massive arena that is the 14th largest football stadium in the US. Due to their penchant to win, the stadium is often filled, making it hard to find Auburn football parking spaces.

Jordan-Hare Stadium opened in November of 1939 with only a capacity of 7,290. Over time, the stadium was expanded repeatedly, its name changing from its original moniker of Auburn Stadium to Cliff Hare Stadium and eventually to Jordan-Hare Stadium, with a recent capacity of around 87,451. For a long period of time, Auburn didn’t play against its rivals at Jordan-Hare, but as its home base increased in size and prowess, more were brought to fight the Tigers in their home turf. While their rivals are coming to Jordan-Hale more often, so do the fans, making it more difficult to find Auburn football parking. If you plan ahead with ParkWhiz, you can book an Auburn Tigers parking spot in advance while the opposing team’s fans have to circle the lot in the hot Alabama sun.

Auburn Tigers fans aren’t kidding when they brag about their team; three Auburn football players have won Heisman trophies. Just one would be enough for most teams, but the Tigers worked for it, and thanks to their effort, Pat Sullivan, Bo Jackson and Cam Newton won the Heisman in 1971, 1985 and 2010, respectively. In addition to the Heisman Trophies, Auburn has won seven SEC championships. Tigers fans have a close relationship with the team, exemplified in the famous Tiger Walk, where they surround the team as they walk down the hill from the Auburn Athletic Complex to Jordan-Hare. One of the most famous traditions regarding the Auburn Tigers is the genesis of its’ battle cry, which is simply “War Eagle.” According to legend, during the first football game against the University of Georgia in 1892, an ex-soldier’s pet eagle soared above the field and when the Tigers won, it crashed and died. But its spirit lives on in each fan who uses the battle cry. Due to this tradition, Auburn University often has an eagle trained to fly around Jordan-Hale to increase the fans’ morale. However, if you are still trying to find Auburn football parking when the game is about to start, it will look more like a vulture as you circle the lot. If you are as wise as a tiger, book your Auburn parking spot in advance, with ParkWhiz.

ParkWhiz is as easy as enjoying some good southern cooking, and just as fun. All you need to do is find the Auburn game that you want to see at Jordan-Hare, book your spot and print your parking pass. When you bring your ParkWhiz parking pass with you to the game, you can relax and enjoy the game.
