Navy Pier Parking: Head To The Hoopla

Connoisseurs of commercialization should admire Navy Pier. Originally conceived as a port for travel and trade in the early 1900s, the dock eventually found its true calling as a public space. After experimenting in several arenas, the pier now serves as one of the city’s premier tourist hubs. Today it’s lined with restaurants, shops, rides, theaters and stages, and is home to Chicago’s iconic ferris wheel.

The pier does offer an on-site parking garage, but its rates can’t compete with those of ParkWhiz.com. The flat rates do little good for visitors looking to spend just a few hours by the lake. Drivers who reserve Navy Pier parking on ParkWhiz can save $10 on weekdays and $11 on weekends.
